Research Methodology

This course provides guidance and training in research methods. Here, you will learn to apply the engineering research process, critique current research, and use research tools for writing your thesis or dissertation. You will also learn to collect, analyze, and evaluate data. By the end of the course, you will prepare and present a research proposal demonstrating the quality and independence needed to complete your graduate studies.
By the end of this course, you will be able to:
- DEVELOP and JUSTIFY research questions and hypotheses relevant to the investigation
- EVALUATE and SELECT appropriate research methodologies and tools for the investigation
- CONDUCT and COMMUNICATE research findings effectively via research reports and presentations
